Who we are
Apex Designs is a web design studio based in Romford, Greater London. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@apexdesigns.org.uk.
What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, email, and optionally phone, business name, package and message, plus which tracked link (if any) brought you to the site.
- Analytics, only if you accept: a random visitor ID, the pages you view, buttons you click, how far you scroll, and your browser type. No ads and no third-party trackers.
- Without your consent: if you arrive through one of our tracked links, we record one anonymous visit for that link, with no ID and nothing stored on your device.
- Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
Why, and the legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote: steps you ask for before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Anonymous link counts: our legitimate interest in knowing which of our posts and groups bring visitors.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase stores enquiries and analytics in a database hosted in the UK/EU region.
- Hostinger provides our email, so enquiry notifications pass through their mail servers.
- GitHub Pages hosts the website and may log IP addresses for security.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact. Analytics events: up to 13 months. These limits are enforced by an automatic daily clean-up.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@apexdesigns.org.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
