The brief
Al Ansaar is a registered charity in Oxford that runs funeral care, the Sunnah Sports Academy and a wide range of community work. Their WordPress website needed a complete revamp, and the systems behind it needed moving at the same time.
The approach
We rebuilt the site from the ground up around the charity’s three areas of work, giving funeral care, the sports academy and the community programme each their own clear entrance from the homepage. The deep green and gold design grows out of Al Ansaar’s palm emblem, so the site feels calm, dignified and unmistakably theirs.
Behind the scenes it was a full move: we transitioned the database, migrated their email and swapped hosting providers, planning each step around a service that families rely on at any hour.
The result
A modern, easy-to-navigate site on new hosting, with the charity’s data and email moved safely across. The client is very pleased with the result, and the new site is launching at alansaar.co.uk.
